Austrian Officials at the 27th French National Session in Aix en Provence PDF Print E-mail

Masoumeh Moridian (Vice President EYP Austria) and Raphael Bek (Regional Headorganiser Graz Forum 2010) will be attending the session as Chair and Journo respectively. We wish the two - as well as all other participants - sunny weather and a great experience!
 
President for the Austrian National Selection Conference 2010 confirmed PDF Print E-mail
General AssemblyThe Austrian Nationals 2010 have a president! Eric Katskowski from Estonia will be leading the session. He has been involved in his National Committee since 2002, chaired at the International Sessions in Kiev 2006, Bialystok 2007 and Prague 2008 and was a GB election candidate. We are sure that his tremendous amount of experience will help this session to become a remarkable event and a great success.

Smiling Board Member MasyNovember 20th, 2010 - A Skype board meeting took place today. The main topic was the NSC, funding and venues being the most pressing issues. Other points of interest included the Interregional Forum on Science and Society, EYP on Ski (which will take place from January 3rd to 5th in Hinterglemm) and the school team's presentation, which will be used as a stepping stone for people who educate students about the European Youth Parliament.

Hostel HütteldorfThe Austrian National Selection Conference 2010 has found a new Accommodation Venue, the Hostel Hütteldorf in Vienna. The surrounding parks provide an excellent environment for Teambuilding, and the location can be reached easily by international participants.

DiscussionNovember 20th, 2010 - The Board of EYP Austria gathered in Vienna to hold a meeting. Topics were, amongst others, EYP on Ski, Venues for the National Selection Conference, membership fees, workflow improvements, school invitations to the Nationals and the new Wiki. All throughout the meeting, current developments were broadcasted via our Twitter account eypaustria.
